Fill-in-the-Blank, III

It's that time again: to fill in the blank as provided by S. B. House.

Here's what we have:

taking a van full of ______ year olds to the movies

the occasion of the _________ invasion

they knew _________ well and valued the ability to cause it

count your ___________

the Merriam-Webster and Garfield __________

a guide to writing _________ with style

This time, to fill in those blanks, I used a random word generator.

And the winners are:

taking a van full of 100 year olds to the movies

the occasion of the ornamental invasion

they knew the bloodstain well and valued the ability to cause it

count your hearts

the Merriam-Webster and Garfield setup

a guide to writing about baptism with style

As always, love them! Your "the bloodstain" fill-in is so perfect... I got the line from reading Braveheart; a description of the Scottish highlanders that said, "they knew death well and valued the ability to cause it." :)
